We used to call this sliding gate motor the "tractor". Why, because every time we wanted a motor that could haul a big heavy gate up a hill without even blinking the ASA12 was it. Just like a tractor it has torque in bucket loads, maybe not pretty but tons of torque. Manufactured in Italy the ASA12 is an Industrial grade 240 volt sliding gate operator. It is ideal for large industrial sliding gates and cantilever sliding gates but also finds it's way into many residential homes pulling big gates up hills. Like all sliding gate operators the ASA12 is self locking with a simple to use manual override by key. The ASA12 is suitable for gates to 1800 kilograms in weight. The ASA12 comes complete with mounting base and limit actuators, has a built in control board (the K44R) in it's own separate internal housing. The K44R logic control board sits underneath the ASA12 blue cover housed in a weather and insect resistant cover. It has inputs for safety photocells as well as entrance and egress access control equipment. The K44R board times the open and close procedure giving safety cut out should the mechanical limits fail. The K44R board has a built in rolling code receiver.
