The big, long ASA600 has been used in so many solar kit farm gates
that we have lost count. The reason? Price and reliability. The ASA600
is great value for money with a quality Italian 12 volt motor and tried
and tested engineering. Marry that to our proven solar technology and
you have a winning combination. Manufactured in Italy the ASA600 is a
powerful 12 volt swing gate electro mechanical operator suitable for gates
to 5 metres wide. It is a self locking operator with key operated manual
override although you would still use an electric gate lock as the ASA600
is typically installed on gates wider than 2.0 metres where the electric
gate lock is necessary. One of the benefits of the 12 volt motor is the
ability to use battery backup meaning you may never have to use the manual
override key.
It is possible to use a variety of control boards to control the ASA600
and we have developed some excellent solar powered applications. The factory
designed board is the K50 and can be used in a number of different modes
and as a one or two motor controller complete with code hopping receiver.
