Manufactured by TAU in Italy the R18 is a 12 volt swing gate electro
mechanical operator designed to be installed under ground. No side room
is a major feature of this operator needing virtually no posts or side room
at all. The operator installs neatly below the gate. The R18 is a non
reversible operator with key operated manual override. It is suitable for
gates to 1.2 metres wide and has built in opening stops. The R18 basically
comes as two parts - 1. The motor itself 2. The foundation box. The R18
is a fast operator and is primarily designed for pedestrian gates up to
1200mm wide and like it's name suggests is fast but safe.
The R18 uses the TAU12 logic controller with options including battery
charge board and battery holder. Simply add a battery and you have emergency
power. The TAU logic controller has full encoder features including end
travel slow down. |
