Will solar be the correct choice for me?Solar power is the correct choice in so many situations. On average it only costs about $150 more to power by solar than a standard low voltage installation so the question often becomes, is low voltage correct for me? Good quality low voltage installations do cost more than high voltage installations but when it's pouring with rain during a late night electrical storm and you have to find your override keys and climb your gate to fumble in the dark and open your gate manually you will ask yourself why you didn't have low voltage. You install automatic gates for security and convenience, how convenient would this scenario be? At the end of the day we live in a country where solar is a sensible, viable, and in the case of automatic gates an economical option and if it suits your installation then go for it.
